Calf Raises

All you need to do this workout routine is a set of stairs or even just a ledge. Stand with your heels near the edge of the stairs with your toes facing the back of the stair. Slowly lower heels until you start to feel a stretch in your calves. Repeat this workout over and over for a few minutes.


Lunges are another great leg exercise that you can do from your home. To do a correct lunge, you are going to want to lunge one leg forward and make a 90-degree angle, making sure that your front knee stays directly over your ankle during the entire thing. Your back leg should be at a slight angle. Repeat this on both sides and try to do three sets of five to start out.


Another great exercise that you can do is go on a daily walk around the block. By getting your heart-rate up and your blood pumping throughout your legs and body, you can help to increase the circulation in your legs.
